Pamela Greenberg, Writer, Poet, Translator

I was born in New York City, but my parents moved to California in a Volkswagen van in 1974 when I was five years old. My dad became violent and bipolar, an experience I talk about in my memoir-in-progress. My translation of the psalms, The Complete Psalms: The Book of Prayer Songs in a New Translation, was published in 2010 by Bloomsbury. I also appeared on PBS' Religion and Ethics NewsWeekly, and have been reviewed in the Washington Post. Besides writing, I'm a parent to a wonderful son and work as a therapist. I am continually inspired by my clients.
